This all action video features the very best of ex-Great Western King Class & British Railways King Class Locomotive, No.6024 ‘King Edward I’ at its very best. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a double chimney King Class engine in full cry as we see the locomotive during the second half of the locomotives 2nd period of Mainline running. Some shots from 2008 onwards are already featured on the "Mainline Diary" DVDs, but also includes some previously unseen footage, along with some extended sequences.

December 30th - 'Thames-Avon Express' - in beautiful winter lighting, we see the locomotive tackling Saunderton Bank, recreating the last days of the King Class on the London-Birmingham Expresses in early 1960s.

January 29th - 'Devonian' - seen struggling the 1 in 42 gradient of Rattery Bank, having just recovered from a signal check at the bottom of the climb
